The Traffic/Special Projects Division of the City of Boca Raton maintains the City's traffic circulation system including traffic signals, signs, and markings. Responsibilities include daily traffic operations as well as planning activities to accommodate growth and an ever-changing system, such as capital improvements, traffic calming, bicycle/pedestrian functions, advanced traffic management systems (ATMS), and transportation demand management (TDM). Through professional traffic engineering and good engineering practices, it is our goal to maintain a safe and efficient traffic circulation system for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
